  19. No. Look, here's the deal. I think when people say, in regard to this UFOs
  20. in the Bible thing, that God is an alien, what they mean to imply is that
  21. the primitive humans who witnessed these events, mistakenly interpreted
  22. the events as acts of "God" and the purpetrators of the events as "Gods".
  23. The concept of monotheism would later change the plural "Gods" to singular
  24. "God". Still, however, the mistaken interpretation remained and has been
  25. perpetuated to this day.

  27. That is not to say, though, that there is no such thing as "God". It's
  28. just that, in my opinion, we need to get away from this incredibly
  29. misleading image of such an anthropomorphic deity. What we've done is to
  30. have created God in our own image.

  32. One more note. To anyone who doubts that the Bible has descriptions of
  33. UFOs, check out the book of Ezekiel. But, hey, get your head (read that,
  34. frame of reference) out of your antiquated fourth grade Sunday school
  35. mentality, and read it with Twentieth Century Eyes. Pay attention to the
  36. details like the feet of the robotic contraption which dscends from the
  37. "ship" hovering above. The feet remind Ezekiel of "calves feet" that shine
  38. "like burnished bronze". Remember, Ezekiel's idea of technology was a
  39. donkey pulling a wooden cart. Our twentieth century idea of technology
  40. includes things like lunar landing modules. And, well gosh what do you
  41. know? Metalic calves feet? Hmmm. Reminds me of the something like the feet
  42. of... well... of the lunar landing module. Or something along those lines.
